DescriptionIn this series, experienced professional storytellers will teach children and teens how to tell stories and will offer the participants an opportunity to tell their stories at a final public performance.

Did you know that storytelling is a form of public speaking and that the skills you learn in this series will help you gain the confidence that will help you with school and club presentations, job & college interviews?  Plus it's LOTS OF FUN. Feel shy and not sure you can do this? Well, you can; the storytellers will work thoughtfully with each participant, providing lots of encourage and helpful tips.

More specific information will be announced later. Each participating youth will receive a folktale book at the end of the series.

A pizza party is planned at the library at the end of the first session.

Except for November each session will be the third Saturday monthly September 2012-March 2013.
