If the Career Resource Lab is full and you are waiting for your turn, we invite you to come into the library, read magazines or books, or sign up to use one of the library's computers. While on the computer you may want to access the "Job and Career Accelerator" service accessible via the library's home page--a Clayton County Library card is required (a card is free but requires a photo I.D.) Job & Career Accelerator will also help you search for available jobs, prepare a resume, or determine which career might interest you. Ask staff for assistance if you have questions.

10:00 AM-10:45 AM Family Storytime for Toddlers
Toddlers, ages 21-36 months, will enjoy interactive stories, songs, action verse and an extended activity during this story time series. Advance registration is required but it is necessary to register ONLY ONE TIME for the entire series. You may register for a series any time, in person, by email, or by telephone. Parents must remain in the story time with their children.
PLEASE NOTE: This story time series is for families only and we regret that we can not permit child care groups to attend this story time series. However, the library does schedule story times on other weekdays specifically for both in-home and center child care groups. Please ask staff for scheduling details.

Free Tutoring Provided by Sylvan Learning
This tutoring will prepare students for important Georgia standardized tests such as the CRCT, End-of-Course Test (EOTC), and Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT)
Space is limited, parents must meet with Sylvan representatives in advance to complete paperwork. Students & their parents MUST commit to ongoing weekly tutoring; this is NOT drop-in tutoring or homework assistance.
Students accepted into this tutoring series are required to meet for two hours weekly with their Sylvan tutors. Sylvan & parents will schedule tutoring appointments. Available slots will be filled on a first come, first registered basis. Priority will be given to those students who fall under the SES(Supplemental Educational Services) guidelines.
The Clayton County Library system is providing space for this tutoring as a community service. All tutoring is conducted by Sylvan Learning and all questions should be directed to them. 5:45 PM-8:45 PM Free Tutoring by Literacy For Youth
The Literacy for Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization with 501(c) 3 status, proposes to tutor students from grades 3rd-8th on the importance and essentials of economics, mathematics, financial literacy and reading during after school sessions and summer programs. Our foundation is also preparing our youth for standardized testing.

All tutoring is conducted by tutors provided by Literacy for Youth and all questions should be directed to them. These sessions will be ongoing on Tuesdays throughout the school year but will NOT meet any day that Clayton County Public Schools are not in session.
